Jenkins Build Monitoring using Catlight

In this blog, we are going to learn how we can do automatic build monitoring using Jenkins Catlight Plugin.

As we all are aware build monitoring is very important aspects of any Dev-Ops Implementation.
To monitor Jenkins's build we can use CatLight plugin.

The Major feature of this plugin include:
ü  Build investigation
ü  Separate Build history for branches
ü  Release Monitoring
ü  Work Item Monitoring
ü  See Only Relevant Notifications
ü  Team Status for all team members.

To Download the Catlight plugin as per OS Version. Please Click on this link.

Download this Plugin into local machine and extract this zip.
Double click on Catlight Icon and Open it.

Select Jenkins and then provide the Url of Jenkins Server and username and password and click on connect.

Select Job we want to monitor and click on Save.

Now Jenkins will automatically monitor the status of all selected jobs and notify the status on a real-time basis to the user. Please Note all this notification will appear in the window system tray.
